Welcome to the FanFolio Privacy Policy (“Policy”)! This policy describes the types of information We may collect from you or that you may provide when you download the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play and such other related sites and mobile applications as FanFolio may create (collectively, the “App”) and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

1.Collection of Information

Registration Information

When you download the App and create an account (“Account”), we may collect certain information (“Registration Information”) about you, such as:

Username;
Email address;
Gender identity;
Date of birth;
Sexual preference;
Photographs;
Location;
About me

Once you register, you will be able to review and change this information at any time just by logging in to FanFolio (other than your date of birth and location (which, if you have given FanFolio access to your location in your device settings, is automatically updated based on the location of your device)). It is your responsibility to ensure that your account details are kept up to date.

Profile Information

We recommend and encourage you (and all our members) to think carefully about the information you disclose about yourself. We also do not recommend that you put email addresses, URLs, instant messaging details, phone numbers, full names or addresses, credit card details, national identity numbers, drivers’ licence details and other sensitive information which is open to abuse and misuse on your profile.When you post information about yourself or use the messaging function to communicate with other Users, the amount of personal information you share is at your own risk.

Purchases Information

When you purchase a membership through Google Play or the Apple App Store, we do not get any personal information from that transaction. All personal information relating to that transaction is solely between you and Google Play or the AppStore, as the case may be, and their respective Privacy Policy would apply.

Geolocation Information

If you have given FanFolio access to your location in your device settings, when you use your mobile, we will collect information about WiFi access points as well as other location information about your longitude and latitude and may save your device’s coordinates to offer certain features to you. This information helps us identify your physical location and we use it to personalise the App and make it easier for you to interact with other Users, by enabling the general locality information to be displayed to Users seeing your profile and showing you the profiles of other Users who are near you.

Information You Provide to Us

The information We collect on or through our App may include:

Information that you provide by filling in forms on our App. This includes information provided at the time of, for example, creating your profile or making any inquiries or requests to us.
Records and copies of your correspondence (including email addresses) such as support requests, if you contact us.
Your responses to surveys that We might ask you to complete for research purposes.

Information and Persistent Identifiers We Collect Through Automatic Data Collection Technologies.

As you navigate through and interact with our App, We may use automatic data collection technologies to collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions, and patterns, including:

estimate our audience size and usage patterns; and
recognize you when you return to our App.

The technologies We use for this automatic data collection may include:

You grant us permission to make Essential Information and, to the extent you provide it, Optional Information public.

Our staff has limited access to the information you provide in your profile, as you may amend it from time to time, and our staff may access that information only for the purpose of assisting you to edit or delete that information, as well as for assisting you in the use of our App or in resolving Disputes.

We may sell aggregated information as to our users’ Essential Information and Optional Information to parties who may be interested in informing you about goods and services that they feel you may be interested in.

We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information:

Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. To learn how you can manage your Flash cookie settings, visit the Flash player settings page on Adobe’s website. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of the App may be inaccessible or not function properly.
Promotional Offers from Us. If you do not wish to receive promotional offers from Us or for third parties’ products or services, you can opt-out by sending us an email stating your request to Hello@FanFolio.cc. If We have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be excluded from future email distributions. This opt-out feature does not apply to information provided to the Company in connection with your registration, a service experience or other transactions.

We do not control third parties’ collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose to not have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative (”NAI”) on the NAI’s website.

4. Security

We employ measures desig ned to secure your personal information from accidental loss and unauthorized access, use, alteration and disclosure. The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where We have given you (or where you have created) an account for access to certain parts of our App, you are responsible for keeping this account confidential. We ask you not to share your acount with anyone.

No data transmissions over the Internet, cell-phone connections or Wi-Fi can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We cannot guarantee the security of any information communicated by or to other Users. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the App. Once We receive your information, We take reasonable measures to secure it on our systems.

If We learn of a security breach, We may attempt to notify you electronically so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using the App or providing personal information to us, you agree that We can communicate with you electronically regarding security, privacy and administrative issues relating to your use of the App. We may post a notice on the App if a security breach occurs. We may also send an email to you at the email address you have provided to us in these circumstances.

5. Data Petention & Processing

We will keep information you store with us for as long as We need it to make the App available to you; and We may store, use and/or transmit information in locations around the world, including those outside your country. Even if you delete your account, We will keep this information and any data collected regarding all activities in which you have already engaged pursuant to your use of the App for a period of time as we deem appropriate but no longer than as allowed by applicable law.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are restricted to individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit individuals under the age of 18 on our platform. If you suspect that a member is under the age of 18, please use the reporting mechanism available on the service.

7. Privacy Policy Changes

FanFolio has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will update the date on the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

8. Your California Privacy Rights

For Users who are California residents, you have the following rights (in addition to those listed at section 10 below) under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and you have the right to be free from unlawful discrimination for exercising your rights under the Act:

You have the right to request that we disclose certain information to you and explain how we have collected, used and shared your personal information over the past 12 months.
You have the right to request that we delete your personal information that we collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.

California’s “Shine the Light” law, Civil Code section 1798.83, requires certain businesses to respond to requests from California customers asking about the businesses’ practices related to disclosing personal information to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. From time to time, as part of a joint promotion with a third party, we may, if you participate in such promotion, disclose your contact information to the third party to allow them to market their products or services to you. Where this is a condition for participation in a promotion, we will always let you know before when you enter the promotion. Please follow the instructions provided to you by third parties to unsubscribe from their messages.

In addition, under California law, operators of online services are required to disclose how they respond to “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of personal information of a consumer over time and across third party online services, to the extent the operator engages in that collection. At this time, we do not track our Users’ personal information over time and across third-party online services. We do not knowingly permit third parties to collect personal information about an individual User’s online activities over time and across different online services when using the App.
